Step 1: Install the App

Visit the Dezigner.ai listing on the Shopify App Store and click Install. Approve the required permissions in your Shopify admin. You will be automatically redirected to the Dezigner.ai admin dashboard at admin.dezigner.ai.

Step 2: Create Your First Preset

In the left sidebar, navigate to Plugin Appearance. Click Add New Preset to create your first configurator. Give it a name (e.g., “LED Neon Signs”) and click Save. You will now see the 17-tab preset editor.

Step 3: Configure General Settings

In the General tab of your preset, fill in the following key fields:

• Organisation Name — your business name, shown to customers
• Markup Percentage — your global margin applied to all base prices
• Currency — select your store’s currency
• Subscription Type — select your active plan (Starter or Professional)

Step 4: Set Up Pricing

Navigate to the Size Options tab to configure your available sign sizes and their base prices. Then visit Neon Tubes to set pricing for your tube categories. Your global markup from Step 3 is applied on top of these base prices to calculate the customer-facing price.

Step 5: Choose Colours & Fonts

In the Neon Colours tab, enable the colours you offer and set any colour-specific price adjustments. In the Neon Fonts tab, enable the fonts you offer. Disable any options you do not currently stock or manufacture to keep the customer experience clean and accurate.

Step 6: Configure Sizes & Options

Work through the remaining option tabs to configure your full product offering:

• Plug Types — enable the plug standards you ship (AU, US, UK, EU)
• Power Cable Placements — set available cable exit positions
• Power Cable Lengths — set available cable length options and pricing
• Mounting Options — enable wall mounting, hanging, or 3M strip options
• Backboard Options — configure backboard shapes and styles
• Backboard Colours — set available backboard colours

Step 7: Add Branding

In the Branding tab, upload your logo and set your brand colours. In the Background Images tab, you can upload a custom background for the configurator. In the Language tab, you can customise any of the text labels shown to your customers.

Step 8: Embed on Your Store

Once your preset is configured, click Save and then Get Embed Code. Copy the embed code and paste it into your Shopify product page template in the location where you want the configurator to appear. The configurator will render automatically within your existing page layout.

Step 9: Test & Go Live

Before going live, test the full customer journey on your store:

1. Open your product page and confirm the configurator loads correctly.
2. Create a test design using both Text-to-Neon and Image-to-Neon (if on Professional plan).
3. Verify the 3D Preview and AR features work on a mobile device.
4. Add the design to cart and complete a test order.
5. Confirm the order appears in your Dezigner.ai admin dashboard under Orders.
